Athlete Development

The Athlete Development Stream offers more training time for athletes interested in skiing for fitness, considering racing or just wanting more time on snow.

ADP is a training program where skiers aged 13 through 19 train together for classic and/or skate ski racing. There is a racing element to this training program, but the primary purpose is to train, practice, and develop as Nordic skiers.

ADP includes Midget (birth year: 2004), Juvenile (birth year: 2003,2002), and Junior (birth year: 2001,2000,1999) categories.

Please note that participants in ADP must be registered as members in Kawartha Nordic. The membership costs are not included in the program rates below. Please see the Rates page for more information.
