KNSC Youth Festival
YOUTH FESTIVAL

Schedule:
12:00pm Family BBQ
1:00pm Fun Sprint Relay Races
- Jackrabbit event
- ADP Team Sprint Challenge (2 person mixed teams, 4x400m relay, free
technique)
- Track Attack Pursuit Race (400m classic followed by 400m freestyle)
- medals to the top 3 finishers in each race
2:00pm Final program group meeting with coaches and leaders
coaches meet with their groups to hand out final Jackrabbit or Track
Attack awards
The Jackrabbit Festival is a one-day extravaganza of fun, low-key, competitions and special activities. The festival will include a family BBQ, series of races, and an Orienteering tour.
The principal objective of the Jackrabbit Festival is to bring together all the children for a memorable and enjoyable day of cross-country ski competition and fun. Other objectives of this program include: (1) encouraging achievement through team effort, (2) encouraging good ski technique, and (3) encouraging participation.
