Kawartha Enduro Volunteers Needed! Feb 14

KNSC is in need of approximately 20 volunteers to help with the 3rd Annual Kawartha Enduro race, scheduled for Sunday, February 14, 2010 (race start at 11am). This event will see many of our youth skiers and club members out testing their ski skills and enjoying a great sport. Club races like this require a strong volunteer base, so please consider helping out.

There are a variety of roles to fill including:

2-4 Greeters (these folks are near the parking lot and main cabin directing racers to sign-in; informing day skiers of event; answering questions etc.)
16 Course Marshals (these folks are along the course, with one person [or more] at every intersection directing racers; and, of course, cheering!!)
2 Start / Finish assistants

In addition, we'd love to have as many club members out to cheer for the Enduro participants, either at the start / finish line or along the course. Bring your cow bell or noisemaker and you will be well rewarded with lots of KNSC smiles and hot chocolate!
