Mon 8-Mar-2010
Spring like conditions, fast in morning, slower after lunch, ski with extra care as corners, hills etc, will be fast. With temperature well above 0c, we are grooming with smaller machines for now. We do not recommend Laderach cabin loop in mornings, hills will be very fast, better ski after lunch( softer conditions). Best ski,up to Tanney cabin via, Beaver, Trillium, Wolf, Kenner. Kawartha difficult, Pl road, Otter remain closed. Check back for updates.

Grooming at KNSC
The grooming team at KNSC strives to provide the best possible skiing for the most people. We give priority to grooming the Tanney Loop (15km Skate-classic trail) and the Laderach Loop (5km double set classic. This ensures access to our two highest use cabins. These trails are groomed as needed during the week and will be groomed for Sat.and Sun.
When time and snow conditions permit we groom the East side (Kenner) and the north (PL Road-Kawartha Trails). We realize that these trails are enjoyed by many skiers and we try our best to groom these trails at least once a week.
The wilderness trails to the Bennett Cabin are run with a snowmobile when snow conditions permit.
If you are interested in helping with the grooming of our trails please contact Dave Woodfine at contact@kawarthanordic.ca.
